Hammer Worker is a casual game that helps a player reduce stress by giving them few tasks beyond repetitive breaking of a variety of rocks and performing upgrades. The player receives access to a giant hand holding a hammer above a platform floating in water. Rocks fall onto the platform from above. The hand strikes with the hammer automatically.
The player must direct the hammer to break the rocks to reveal bundles of cash, blue diamonds and special power boosters by using a bullseye target that features a shining light. Whenever the target is positioned above a rock, the hammer moves to that spot to strike the surface. The hammer must strike the rock several times in different spots to reveal the interior entirely. The cash or diamonds then roll toward a hole at the bottom of the screen where the game converts them into usable cash based on their value. If the player reveals a booster, their hammer works better. For example, a devil emoji booster makes the hammer more powerful with fire.
Hammer Worker offers Single Player and Two Players modes. With Single Player, the player uses their cash to incrementally increase the hardness of the strikes, the speed of the hand's motions and the amount of income. If they don't have enough money, they can upgrade these areas by watching advertisements. In Two Players mode, each player must earn the most cash before time runs out.
