Dragon's Pyramid is an online Pyramid Solitaire game that features beautiful fantasy artwork on cards from a 52-card deck that includes extra-large suits and dragons. The player's goal is to remove all cards from a wood background using the classic rules of the green card table version of Pyramid Solitaire.
The game deals the cards as overlapping rows that form a pyramid shape. The player can only remove the unlayered cards that have a value of 13 when paired together. For example, they can remove Q+A, J+2, 10+3, 9+4, 8+5 and 7+6. Since the King card always has a value of 13, they only need to select it to remove it from the playfield.
The player can also remove cards from the field by using draw-pile and waste-pile cards near the upper left-center area of the backdrop. That said, they only receive two re-deals per game, which means they can only go through the draw pile of cards twice to find cards to pair with the cards in the pyramid.
If the player selects the wrong card by mistake, they can undo their last move. Additionally, the game allows them to pair side-by-side draw and waste cards. As a result, they can remove cards faster from the backdrop.
Dragon's Pyramid also offers a score challenge option. When the player wins the game, they play again to attempt to beat their last score.
