Click Battle: Madness is a defense fighting game with click-tap tile-matching play. The player defends a land against raiders who arrive by sea at a local beach by using various tactics.
The player primarily matches two or more blue, green, red or yellow wizards behind stone walls that feature mounted laser cannons. The wizards use combo magical attacks based on their color. If the player takes too long to find a match, they lose the power needed to make the attacks strong enough to take out the most raiders.
The game also provides other attack options. The player can defend the land with the cannons. That said, they must wait for the cannons to recharge between uses. Additionally, they receive special attacks that allow them to take out or slow down large numbers of the enemy, including fireballs, a gold freeze attack, and a giant hand that crushes raiders.
Click Battle: Madness drives a player insane by allowing some raiders to wander outside of the main field of battle, which means they can attack just above or below where the wizards can do their spells. It also increases the number of ships and enemy fighters as the battle progresses.
The game helps the player face these odds by allowing them to use gold coins that they win during a battle to upgrade the wizards' skills and install archers standing on towers in front of the cannons.
