Construction Ramp Jumping is a distance racing game that tasks the player with seeing how far they can make a vehicle fly off an asphalt ramp through a construction zone. The player receives cash winnings for distance. They also receive bonuses for barrel rolls and various types of flips.
The player can increase the amount of their earnings by watching videos. Once they have enough money, they can use the cash to upgrade their vehicle's engine, boost force and potential next bonus. They can also upgrade to a different vehicle, including a fire truck, a long-distance transportation truck, or a dump truck.
Construction Ramp Jumping provides the player with new vehicles automatically outside of upgrades and new environments every time they successfully land a vehicle within a green arena that features a black-and-white checkered finish area. The player must be capable of performing strategic upgrades and possess excellent timing to progress from level to level.
The player must also anticipate forces like gravity and have at least a basic understanding of how vehicle weight combined with speed can influence outcomes. For example, the load on the back of a semi-trailer truck automatically shifts left and right with a swinging motion at high speeds both on the ramp and mid-air. A monster-style truck is lighter than a fire truck and usually tilts downward, loses its ability to soar through the air, and flips forward or barrel rolls even at top speeds.
