Coin Smash is a stickman puzzle game. The player helps a yellow stickman collect floating coins inside an arena-style setting. Each arena features a white floor with a grid and gray block border walls arranged in different shapes.
The player must often watch out for one or more red stickmen carrying swords. If the player accidentally allows one of these stickmen to attack their avatar, it cuts down the character and leaves a yellow puddle to spread all over the floor. The player must then restart that particular level.
The game presents a challenge with the red stickmen by making one or more appear after one or more red number countdowns occur on the white tiles. A countdown starts the moment the player starts the level, even if they don't move their avatar.
Coin Smash aids the player by allowing them to direct their avatar to run down the grid lines between white tiles to collect coins from two rows at the same time. The player can also stop their avatar's movements while a red stickman walks by to attempt to prevent the character from running into it.
The game offers features coin rewards as well. If the player watches ad videos, they can multiply the number of coins they win per level. They use the coins to then upgrade their avatar's appearance with randomly selected Common, Rare and VIP skins.
