Bounce Ball Adventure is a side-scrolling platformer with physics and arcade elements similar to the Red Ball series and Bounce game. Monsters have invaded the world of the red Bounce Ball. A player helps Bounce Ball collect coins and fight evil squares and bosses across many levels.
The player directs Bounce Ball to explore a wide range of environments, including green hills, dense forests, construction sites and prairies. They also direct it to collect coins to upgrade their ball's appearance with new colors, patterns and textures. They can try out these other ball skins and earn additional coins and lives by watching advertisements.
Bounce Ball Adventure has a lot of challenges, obstacles and traps beyond the squares and their bosses. The player must navigate Bounce Ball over pits, on to elevators and across swinging platforms. They might need to direct the ball to push a crate or boulder into a different position to jump high enough to reach another area of a path or bounce on top of a box to break it.
The game supplies the player with opportunities to acquire boosters that can help them in each level, such as a magnet booster that collects coins automatically.
