Emoji Puzzle is a connect-style puzzle game that challenges a player's knowledge of common emojis and aspects of life. The player is presented with several emojis on a screen. They must connect the emojis on the left side of the screen to the ones on the right side.
Any connection is possible. For example, the player might need to connect an emoji representing a person's profession with an element from their career. They might need to connect two symbols that represent a specific culture or a type of food that relates to a pet or food category.
In some cases, the connection isn't immediately obvious. For example, a cat emoji with its paws to its face connects with a dog emoji because cats are often afraid of dogs. A level might require the player to connect an emoji that's a byproduct of the person, animal or object represented by another emoji. For example, a pregnant woman connects to an emoji of a mother holding her baby.
When the player selects each emoji, a green border and line appear connecting the two emojis. If they select the wrong one, they can deselect it. If they fail to guess the connections in a level correctly, they can replay without penalty. They can also skip a difficult level by watching an advertisement. If they win, they hear a cheer and confetti bursts across the screen.
