The Tom and Jerry Show: Spot the Difference is a find-the-difference game that features characters from the Tom and Jerry series of shows and films. The player's only goal is to find everything that's different between two cartoon images that feature Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse or one of the characters with other characters from the series.
The game displays two side-by-side images. Above the images, it provides the player with a hint about the number of differences in the form of round circles next to a trophy icon. Typically, the player must find five differences per each of the game's 10 levels.
When the player sees a difference, they select the spot on either image. Every time they guess one correctly, the game updates a circle with a checkmark and adds a number to the right of the trophy. The number shows the total number of differences guessed correctly across all levels up to that point.
The Tom and Jerry Show: Spot the Difference offers the player a hint button marked with a white magnifying glass. When the player uses it, the game briefly marks the difference on one of the images with white animated bubbles. The player doesn't need to pay to use this tool. The game also doesn't penalize them in any way for using it.
Warning: If the player returns to the home screen for any reason, the game might reset their progress, which means that they must then start over entirely.
