Swipe The Pin is a pull-the-pin logic-puzzle game that features 40 unique puzzles. It shares qualities with physics-based water-in-glass games like Happy Glass and Happy Filled Glass and ball-in-cup games like Dig This and Falling Balls. These games require a player to find the best way to fill a container with items or substances using gravity and angled movement against objects while dealing with a wide range of challenges and obstacles.
The player starts with a basic scenario. A hanging storage area with a white frame contains tiny colored balls resting on a golden horizontal pin. The player must pull the pin to drop the balls into a glass jar accented with a gold rim and bottom. As the game progresses, the game adds more pins, black balls that gain color when mixed with normal balls, complex storage section shapes, black round mortar bombs, and even fan-style pinwheel blades. The player must determine the best order of steps to take to remove the pins without destroying the balls entirely or dropping even one ball to the far left or right side of the screen against the gradient-blue backdrop.
Swipe The Pin challenges the player with bombs that expand and explode like balloons when they bounce against other bombs or surfaces after a long drop. The player might need to drop two bombs together, but time the drop so the bombs roll close enough to impact and explode. As a result, the player must often patiently time a pin pull while waiting for one or more bombs to roll.
The player can drop a bomb on either side of the jar or off the side of the screen. That said, if the player drops black balls into the jar before they fully transform, or a bomb, they fail the level.
