Stack Builder: Skyscraper is a stacking game. The player drops completed floors from the claw at the end of a crane onto the first and other floors of a building at a city construction site. Their goal is to stack the floors so as to construct the highest possible skyscraper and earn a specific number of points.
The player can't unlock the next stage of the game without earning a certain score. The game requires them to earn at least 1,600 points to unlock Stage 2 and 2,100 points to unlock Stage 3.
The claw randomly swings back and forth and slightly up and down in the air, which makes it more difficult for the player to place the floors. When the player drops a floor onto a previous one, the floor might fall at an angle and drop off the side of the building. If this happens, the player must start over.
Stack Builder: Skyscraper applies semi-realistic physics as the structure grows vertically in size. The player must compensate and attempt to balance potential leaning by dropping a floor slightly to the opposite side of the lean. For example, if the tower leans slightly right, then the player must drop the floor off-center slightly to the left. The goal is to keep the structure upright until the score registers 1,600 points or higher.
