Shoot Bubbles: Ocean Pop is a bubble-shooting game with an underwater theme. The player must remove all bubbles from a playfield located in the ocean. As with traditional bubble shooters, the bubbles hang from the top of the field in connected rows that feature different colored bubbles.
The player can only remove bubbles by shooting a projectile bubble from a ring shooter at two or more matching connected bubbles. The ring displays two projectiles at a time. That said, the player can switch the two projectiles to always take out the most bubbles with one shot.
Shoot Bubbles: Ocean Pop also offers boosters to speed up play. If the player removes seven bubbles at a time, they receive a fireball booster that removes a straight line of bubbles. If they remove 10 bubbles, they receive a bomb booster that blasts away a group of bubbles. Other boosters in the game include an option to extend the aim and accuracy of a shot with a guideline and an option to perform a super swap by giving the player access to three projectile bubbles at a time.
The player receives points for the bubbles they pop. They receive bonus points for any projectiles remaining in the shooter after they complete a level. The game rewards them with daily bonus, spin wheel and gift boosters and coins. That said, they must watch an advertisement if they want to use the lucky spin wheel more than once or accept multiple gifts.
