Onet Connect Classic is a connect-style, tile-matching puzzle game that features three image collections. A player must select and remove pairs of matching images from a distribution of 72 round-cornered white tiles on a 12x6 grid board. Their primary objective is to score the highest points possible and keep playing grid after grid until they run out of moves or options.
The player can only remove matching tile pairs that connect with no more than three lines. The collection options include cute domestic and wild animals, sweet desserts and treats, and fruits and vegetables commonly used in juices and other beverages. In the first group, pairs include bluebirds, bunnies, cats, crabs, dogs, elephants, foxes, giraffes, monkeys, pandas, parrots, pigs, snakes and whales. The second group includes chocolate bars, cake roll slices, croissants, donuts, ice cream sandwiches, pies and swirl hard candy. The last group contains avocados, blueberries, carrots, cherries, grapes, green apples, lemons, limes, mangoes, pineapples, pears, plums, strawberries, tomatoes and watermelons.
Onet Connect Classic gives the player 5 minutes to solve a board. During that time, they can use a shuffle button to redistribute the tiles to make finding matches faster. They can also use a hint tool to reveal a pair with round-cornered white brackets. When they connect a pair correctly, white lines appear to show the connection. After they run out of these tools, they can't earn any more.
The game makes playing harder by moving the tiles out of position randomly. Tiles might drop or slide into a different position in any direction after tile removal causes a gap. If the player does well, they receive points from matches and a gold gift with extra points.
