Jewels Blitz 6 is a match-3 puzzle game in a jungle locale. The home screen displays a dirt path with buttons winding through ancient ruins past statues, monkeys and village huts. The player's goal is to complete a task or tasks in each level via match-3 gameplay. They must match three or more of the same jewels distributed across checkerboards to collect specific numbers and types of jewels and other items.
The player wins a level when they complete a task. The game then declares "Jewels Blitz." The player receives up to three gold stars and gold coins for their efforts. After they reach certain levels on the home screen, they also receive access to gifts and treasures filled with additional coins and boosters.
Jewels Blitz 6 features a wide range of boosters that make it possible for the player to quickly clear away entire rows, columns and specific jewels with a single move on a board. The player creates boosters by making lines of four or more matching jewels. For example, they can create a row or column Line Blast by aligning four matching jewels. They can also combine boosters to create larger blasts that take out multiple rows, columns, and even diagonal lines at the same time. With a line made of five matching jewels, they create a Color Gem Bomb that removes all of the same type of jewels. The player can also buy boosters and extra lives using their coins.
