Jewel Royal Saga is a match-3 puzzle game that features a diamond-mining theme. The player mines colorful diamonds by matching three or more of the same color in a row or column on a floating board in a mining shaft. To win a level, they must earn a certain amount of points by performing matches. They then receive up to three gold stars, and unlock the next level. The game features a fantastic 200 levels of match-3 fun!
The player matches diamonds by swapping two to reposition one diamond next to two connected, identical ones. If they match more than three diamonds, they receive power-ups that remove diamonds in lines, small areas or randomly with explosions. These boosters include colorful dynamite sticks and round bombs that act like classic rockets, black bombs and rainbow boosters. The game also supplies additional boosters, including extra swap arrows that allow the player to swap two diamonds on the board without losing a move, a pickaxe that takes out a diamond and underlying block, and a minecart that removes targets.
Jewel Royal Saga displays the points goal near the top-left corner, the number of available moves at the top-center, and the score at the top-right. If the player wants to earn extra boosters, they must watch ads. They can enjoy a free turn on a spin wheel every six hours.
