Freecell Solitaire Time is a timed version of the classic offline card game of the same name. It displays a standard deck of playing cards face-up on a blue-purple tabletop in eight layered columns. The player's goal is to rearrange the cards in the columns in descending order (K, Q, J...) by alternating colors to uncover Aces and build piles in ascending order (A, 2, 3...) by the same color and suit in the upper-right foundation area marked with the suit icons. They must complete this task within 10 minutes or lose.
The game is referred to as Freecell because the player can build their columns faster by relocating any cards that block a descending-order build to one of four empty spaces or cells in the upper-left area. They can then use those cards later to fill gaps when they need a specific card. For example, if they move a black 9 card to a free cell, they might later transfer it below a red 10 card to then use an uncovered red 7 card from a different column.
Freecell Solitaire Time doesn't offer an undo move button. That said, the player can pause the game by selecting the menu icon at the upper-left corner of the screen. They can use the menu to also resume or restart the game or start over with a new game with cards dealt in a different pattern.
