Fly This! is a timed, airplane-management, puzzle game set in different environments across islands that feature roads, lakes, seas, farms, villages, beaches and other populated areas. The player is tasked with picking up and dropping off passengers, scheduling takeoffs and landings, managing airplanes and preventing crashes. They can only win a level if they have excellent problem-solving skills and hand-eye coordination.
The player might need to direct and manage more than one plane at a time. They must fly passengers to specific airports based on a color designation. A plane picks up passengers at an airport near one or more airports that feature different roof colors. It's also close to regular routes, which means that the player might need to direct a plane around another plane that suddenly appears along their chosen flight path. They might also need to prevent the takeoff of a second plane until the path is clear of any traffic.
Fly This! offers gold coin and star rewards when the player does well. If their plane or planes crash into something, or they run out of time, they must start over. If they perform well, they receive new airlines and different types of planes that have higher capacity, fly faster and earn more revenues.
