Dino Fusion: Bubble Evolution is a merge-style logic-puzzle game similar to 2048 and the Suika or Watermelon game. It's set in a prehistoric time when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. The player's goal is to merge baby dinosaurs captured inside bubbles to create new dinosaurs across seven levels until they reach a specific goal displayed on the left side of the screen or the final evolution in the twelve evolution stages.
The player drops bubbles like balls from above a red horizontal line at the top-center of the screen into a walled-off space that acts like a container. They can only merge pairs of matching dinosaurs. Although the bubbles bounce and roll, they drop almost like stones.
Dino Fusion: Bubble Evolution displays a goal on each level to the left of the merge area. The player must create the three dinosaur type or types displayed as the goal to unlock the next level and take one stop closer to the final evolution (i.e., a red T-rex baby). When they are successful, each completed bubble pulses.
Although the red horizontal line doubles as a warning line that becomes yellow when the player allows the bubbles to stack too high in the merge space, the player doesn't immediately lose the game. They can attempt to drop and merge bubbles to knock down the stack.
