Connect the Balls Together is a merge game. It features stunning, glowing, crackling, shiny metallic and magical marble-like balls instead of fruits, blocks or other common and popular objects. The player directs identical balls to connect inside a narrow container to create larger balls. They then use the cash that they earn to install other backgrounds.
The game starts with a nighttime scene of a structure cut into rock and lit from within. It also offers an autumnal forest at dusk and a grass field during a summer storm at night. The player needs to earn tens of thousands in green banknote cash to buy these backgrounds.
The player starts by dropping a ball into the clear container. They must then follow by dropping an identical ball on top of it, without a targeting line, to create the next ball in the evolution of the objects.�
Connect the Balls Together provides no preview of the next available ball. Additionally, if the player allows the balls to pile up within the container until the stack grows upward past a white-dashed horizontal line, they lose the game. That said, they can use the shop button on the container screen to purchase bombs to decrease the size of a pile.
The game displays the player's score and all-time record at the top-left corner. It offers options to return to the home screen and visit the shop at the upper-right corner.
