Beaver Weaver offers a player the opportunity to combine their love of cross-stitch and paint-by-numbers. Gloria Beaver, a happy weaver, needs the player's help with completing a wide range of cross-stitch pattern designs from several categories (New Year, Magic, Food, Nature, Creatures and My Collection). Instead of traditional cross-stitch floss, the game uses a paint-style medium that recreates the appearance of crossed stitches.
The player doesn't need to use a virtual needle or paint each cell on a gray-and-white pattern individually. Instead, they can pick a circular color option marked with a letter below the pattern on a canvas that floats in front of an image of the interior of Gloria's home. They then select each cell to prompt the game to create an automatic cross stitch or select multiple cells to pain the stitches with one move.
Beaver Weaver makes painting the cross stitches easy. The player can't accidentally paint the wrong area, as often happens with similar games. They also receive a lot of cool, helpful tools, including a needle booster that paints multiple rows, a ball of yarn booster that paints a circle of cells, and a paint bucket booster that paints connected cells.
If the player runs out of these tools, they can always buy, earn or win more. They earn boosters or coins when they complete a pattern. They then use the coins to buy more tools. The game rewards them for watching ad videos. It also gives them a daily gift.
