Strike Solitaire is a solitaire game that combines cards and bowling play. The game takes place at hotel locations that feature bowling alleys. These twelve locations include Green Alley, Blooming Hills, Alpine Esplanade, 4th Season Terrace, Strikes Plain and Royal Summit.
Each location features 10 unique levels that act like frames in a game of bowling. The player's goal is to remove all cards, especially 10 special hidden cards, by matching identical non-suit cards in pairs on the playfield, between the draw-pile deck and playfield, and in the draw and waste piles. When the player succeeds without making a mistake, they receive the equivalent of a strike in bowling.
The player earns points and money during play in either junior or professional club lanes. They receive point multipliers during a frame by removing a high number of consecutive pairs in a streak. When they act quickly and remove cards consecutively without errors, they receive the highest monetary reward. They also receive bonuses by removing bonus cards.
Strike Solitaire gives the player many tools to help them win. They can use their coins to purchase card slots to shift cards around to reveal face-down cards. They can also purchase jokers that mimic any card to create pairs and shuffles that make it possible for them to reshuffle the remaining cards to find pairs.
The game also rewards them with trophies for achieving various goals, such as buying extra card slots, using the shuffle a specific number of times, using joker cards a certain number of times, and reaching a particular super-high score.
