Solitaire (Zen Earth Edition) is an online card game that features peaceful Klondike Solitaire play. The player can select daily challenge, one-card and three-card game options. They can also customize the card faces and backs and the background imagery to match their mood by watching ads.
All versions of the game are similar to classic tabletop Solitaire or Klondike. The player creates four suit-specific piles of ascending cards starting with the Aces (A, 1, 2, 3...) in a foundation area above seven columns of color- and suit-mixed face-down and face-up cards layered in descending order (K, Q, J, 10...).
In Daily Challenge mode, the player merely attempts to complete the card game for the current day to reveal a hidden picture behind the dates for a specific month. With 1 Card mode, they can only draw one card from the draw pile at a time. In 3 Cards mode, the player must select three at a time, which makes overall play harder.
Solitaire (Zen Earth Edition) rewards the player with stars. They receive the highest number of stars when they choose the Daily Challenge and 3 Cards modes. They also receive stars for reaching achievements, such as playing their first daily challenge or a specific number of daily or draw-card-specific games.
The game tracks their score, time, card moves and stars overall. For the draw-card modes, it tracks their best time, average time from the last five games, overall average time, number of victories, number of winning streaks, and highest score.
