Save Lazy Fish is a logic-puzzle game. On a beach, an ocean wave deposits strange, two-legged fish upon the shore on a grid made of circles. The fish can't leave their positions because some fish block the rest from moving in any direction. The player's goal across 63 levels is to help each group of fish leave so that they don't perish on the beach.
The fish rest on top of small circles. The player can only change the position of the front of each one. They can't move the back of a fish at all. They also can't move a fish to any position on the sand blocked by a different fish. They can only reposition the front end of a fish on an empty circle.
That said, the player doesn't have to place a fish entirely on a circle. They can reposition it on only half of one. The game also doesn't require that the fish only run away along a row, column or diagonal line of circles. A fish can run on any part of the sand once it isn't blocked on the grid.
Save Lazy Fish offers a hint option with a red help button. That said, the player must watch ads to use it.
