Link Number is a maze-style line-drawing game. The player's goal from level to level is to draw a narrow orange line between numbers on a grid against a dark taupe backdrop.�
Starting from a 1 in a circle, the player must draw the line through every circle and number until they reach the last number on the grid inside of a square. The grid increases in size with more circles and numbers as the player progresses through the levels.
It's important for the player to keep in mind that more than one route might exist to the final number. No wrong route exists. They don't need to worry about penalties for making mistakes either. They can reverse their steps and pull back part or all of the line at any time.
Link Number also provides the player with 10 hints. They access a hint by selecting the white outline light bulb icon.
If the player does well, they can rank on weekly and all-time leaderboards.
