Inca Cubes 2048 is a cube-merging shooter. The player attempts to merge cubes with matching numbers to create higher-numbered cubes and earn the highest possible points.
The game presents a 3x3 cube made of 27 numbered cubes on a stone court bordered by a low wall. Initially, it gives the player a number 4 projectile cube behind a white dashed line. The player must shoot it at a matching cube to create an 8 cube. Other numbered projectiles become available over time. The player can merge two 8 cubes to create a 16 cube, two 16 cubes to create a 32 cube, and so on up to and beyond a 2048 cube.
The player uses a flashing light beam to align their shot. The cubes often act like balls that bounce off non-matching cubes, the side wall, or merely the force behind a merge. The bouncing can help the player merge cubes at the back of the court that they can't reach because of cubes in the way.
Inca Cubes 2048 rewards the player with 25 coins for every new high-numbered cube, starting with 1024. They can use the coins to acquire boosters. A rainbow-colored cube (50 coins) merges with any cube, and a black, cube-shaped bomb (100 coins) turns other cubes into broken black carbon pieces that disappear.
If the player allows cubes to pile up beyond the dashed line, the court blinks red. They must push one or more cubes quickly into the safe zone or start over and attempt to beat their last score.
