Farm Match: Seasons is a match-3 puzzle game with a fun, seasonal pastoral theme. The player receives a variety of tasks from a farmgirl. They must match three or more identical items in horizontal and vertical lines to complete these tasks across levels displayed as buttons on a winding dirt road that goes past a barn, a tractor, a windmill, livestock and fields. Although the game initially features 21 levels, the road leads to a locked geographic area that's covered by clouds.
The player is presented with two-tone brown checkerboards of different sizes and shapes. They need to collect butterflies, flowers, leaves, strawberries, wheat and various other items. In some cases, they don't match the items. Instead, they strategically match and remove items to allow other items to reach the bottom of a board. They must also sometimes break ice barriers and stone-covered squares. They don't need to clear an entire board. They only need to remove task-related items before they run out of moves on the left side of the screen.
Farm Match: Seasons rewards the player with up to three stars and coins. The player can double the coin rewards by watching ads. The game also provides free coins and boosters via achievement gifts, a prize wheel and barnyard bounty chests. The player can buy or create boosters. They might match five items, for example, to create a rainbow-colored pinwheel that blasts away all of the same items based on the player's swap of the booster with a specific item.
