Chenonceau Hidden Objects is a timed hidden picture puzzle game that uses the chateau locations of Chenonceau in the countryside of Chenonceaux, France, as the game's setting. The player explores and finds common items, numbers and letters hidden in 10 static images of spots outside of the castle.
The player must find every object in a scene before time runs out. If they select the wrong object or an area next to the right one, they lose time on the timer. Otherwise, when they select the right object, it disappears from the picture. The player can zoom in and out to see the objects better.
It's important to note that the game hides items, numbers and letters close to other objects that match their shape or color, which results in a hidden object blending in with its surroundings, especially the light and mottled gray numbers and letters. The player tracks their score near the bottom-left corner.
Chenonceau Hidden Objects provides a rechargeable lightbulb hint button. When the player uses it, they select the object they need to find on a carousel below the image, and then the game shows them the object's hiding place by encircling it with a red ring.
