Basketball Stars is a competitive sports game that allows up to two players to experience playing basketball as their favorite professional basketball legends like LeBron James and Stephen Curry.
The game provides 1 Player and 2 Player matches with different selections that include single- and multi-character options and normal and hard modes. With the 1 Player selections, they can choose to play in a tournament or random match against another legend played by the game. There's also a Training mode to help them improve their skills. With the 2 Player Match selections, they can play against another player, both players can play two legends at a time against each other, or the players can team up against two legends played by the game. Outside of these match options, a player can also enjoy a Quick Match against the game or another player.
Basketball Stars offers awards to players for meeting certain achievement milestones in the form of vibrant, colorful posters. They can track these achievements by using the icon marked with a medal and ribbon. Other in-game awards at the end of various matches, include bronze, silver and gold cups.
How to play:
Select a legend or legends to play, depending on the chosen match. Attack or defend, as necessary. Dribble, jump, dash, block and shoot across the court and make the points needed to win each basketball game!
Controls:
Keyboard: Basketball Stars requires the use of a keyboard. Each player must use separate keys to make their chosen basketball legend perform.
To move in different directions, Player 1 must press the Arrow keys. To shoot when attacking, press the X key. To jump and shoot, press the Up Arrow key. To pump, press the Down Arrow key. To dribble quickly, press and hold down the Right Arrow key. To dash, press the Right Arrow key twice. To steal when defending, press the X key. To block, press the Down Arrow key. To perform a super shot, press the Z key.
During a two-player game, Player 2 can perform the same actions by pressing the WASD, L, W, S, D, D (2x), L, S or K keys, respectively.
Mouse: This game doesn't work with a mouse except to click off-court options.
Mobile: This game doesn't work with a touchscreen or trackpad except to tap off-court options.
