Tap Tap Dunk is a casual, endless, sports game that focuses on basketball play. A player uses clicking or tapping action, depending on their device, to make the basketball on the court rise into the air and shoot through a hoop and net with an invisible hand before time runs out on the stadium clock. The game requires the player to have excellent timing and hand-eye coordination.
Every time the player dunks the ball, the horizontal bar clock above the stadium seats refills with a green line. If the player doesn't dunk the ball in a timely fashion, the bar blinks red and then goes dark. The moment the timer stops running, the ball becomes immovable.
If the player shoots the ball over the top of the backboard, the ball disappears from that side of the court and reappears on the opposite side. When the player successfully makes the shot, the hoop and backboard switch sides. The player must make the shot every time the hoop switches from one side of the court to the other side. If they do extremely well, the ball starts to smoke and eventually catches on fire.
Tap Tap Dunk focuses on only one goal. The player must try to keep going until they run out of time. Afterward, they replay with the intent of beating their last best score.
