Vega Mix: Fairy Town, also known as Fairy Town: VegaMix, is a match-3 game. Vika, one of the main characters from the popular Vega Mix games, needs the player's help to reach Santa's workshop and save Christmas! A massive snowstorm has buried the village in snow and ice. Santa has begged Vicky to help him. She can't complete this monumental task on her own. The player must match and collect items from game boards across levels using match-3 rules to open a safe path to the workshop.
The player groups three of the same kind of items on the boards to collect those items and other objects, including purple lizards that rest atop polyomino shapes in spots. They can only complete this task by moving two pieces with one move to create a line or square of three or more identical pieces. This action also removes any nearby obstacles, such as ropes that sometimes bind items.
Vega Mix: Fairy Town provides the player access to boosters that help them complete their tasks, including purple and yellow bombs, rockets and spinners, and rainbow pinwheel flowers. These tools clear larger areas of items or randomly select one item, depending on the booster. The player creates the boosters by matching more than three items at a time or by purchasing what they need.�
The game gives the player coins and a star every time they complete a level. With the stars, they can restore the village. The game displays the number of coins in the upper-left corner of the home screen and the number of stars in the upper-right corner.
