Tripeakz! is a card game based on classic TriPeaks Solitaire that offers a competitive component. The player competes against other online players to see who can earn the most points per game and overall.
The player must use traditional high-low next-card rules to remove face-up and face-down cards on a blue tabletop. They start a level with any type of pattern that features at least one layer of face-down cards beneath one layer of haphazardly placed face-up cards, a face-down deck, a single face-up card to the right of the deck and two R cards. They must find and select the next high or low card (A, 2, 3, 4, 5...) or (K, Q, J, 10, 9...) from any suit that goes with the single face-up card. If they can't find the next card, they select the deck to turn over a card. They repeat this process until they find one. They use an R card to remove any face-up card.
Tripeakz! isn't an easy game to play. It features an artistic deck with light, hard-to-read, pastel-colored cards. Additionally, it has a right-corner inset PiP setup that displays the other player's moves in real-time, which can act as a distraction and slow down play. Lastly, using deck cards reduces the final score.
That said, the game offers a hint button that shakes a face-up card to suggest a match. The player can generate new R cards whenever they match a yellow card from the deck. The game also provides J cards that act like Jokers to mimic any card.
