Room Makeover - Marie's Girl Games is a home remodeling and renovation game similar to Room Makeover. The player helps a young woman clean up and remodel her home. They start with the bedroom and then renovate every room (bathroom, living room and kitchen) and a garden encircled with a white picket fence.
The player uses a button marked with a broom to show them what they need to do initially to start the cleanup and remodel. They must throw drink cans, food, mud and other debris into a trash can.
After the player removes every unwanted piece, the game displays a toolbar on the left side of the screen and cleaning tools. They can use a green sponge to remove marks on the furniture, a paint roller to remove mold and other marks from the walls, a hammer to repair broken objects, a broom to get rid of cobwebs, and a mop to wipe up a puddle of water. The game notifies the player with a gold star when they complete a task.
Once the player completes the cleaning and repairs, they can then furnish the room using a catalog of items that replaces the toolbar on the left side of the screen. They can select a new bed, a new dresser and new wallpaper.
