Pyramid Solitaire is an online game featuring a single deck of fifty-two cards. The gameplay starts with twenty-eight face-up cards arranged in overlapping rows that form a pyramid. The players objective is to destroy the pyramid by eliminating the cards.
Removing cards from the pyramid stack is as easy as matching two cards with a combined value of thirteen. For example, if I pair ten and three, both cards pop and disappear. Remember, Aces have a value of one while Jacks and Queens count as eleven and twelve, respectively. Since a Kings value is thirteen, the card vanishes as soon as I tap it.
If I find no matching cards on the face-up rows, I can click on the stock of face-down cards and deal three cards. Alternatively, I can place a card on the temporary storage to uncover an overlapped card. If both solutions fail to give a new matching pair, I must tap the exit button and view my score.
The additives that make Pyramid Solitaire fun to play include appealing graphics and multiple ways to increase scores. As I advance through the levels, the game becomes puzzling. However, more challenges mean a higher bonus score and a better position in the competitive leader board.
