Kiss, Marry, Hate Challenge is a dress-up game based on the popular childhood game of a similar name that tasks one or more people to ask the player to give the names of three people in their social network or popular culture who they would kiss, marry or hate forever. The more popular version of the game uses words and ideas that many parents disapprove of, including the concept that the third person is one who the player might kill. In this version, three girlfriends are vying for the attention of a new boy at school. They need the player to dress each of them in their best outfits to help the boy decide who he will kiss, marry and hate.
The player starts by selecting a style inspiration book for the first girl. They use the first page to access makeup selections, including lipstick color, eyeshadow color, blush color with and without freckles, mascara brush shape, eyebrow shape, eyebrow color and eye color. They use the second page to select an outfit, including a top and bottom combination, earrings and a necklace, a hat, eyewear and a backpack or purse. They then save the selections and help the other girls.
Kiss, Marry, Hate Challenge then poses the three friends at school wearing their new looks. The new boy states who he finds unattractive, might only kiss and would love to marry tomorrow. The player can download an image of the three girls standing in front of different backgrounds to share with friends or use to design their own future looks.
