Gods of Defense is a tower defense game with an RNG element. Your goal is to protect the temple from monsters by building various weapons and traps to destroy them. If the temple is destroyed, don't worry. You will get a chance to unlock new weapons and upgrades before you give it another try. Don't expect to beat the game all in one go.
Boons and Corruptions
One of the key gameplay elements is balancing boons and corruptions. For every number of waves, you will get a chance to choose from three boon cards chosen at random from the boon cards you have unlocked. These boons will provide a variety of positive effects to help you win. Corruptions are like boon cards but cause negative effects. You get corruption when your corruption meter becomes full from killing corrupted enemies. This is unavoidable but boon cards can be used to mitigate the damage corruptions cause.
Purchasing Upgrades
Turrets can be upgraded directly but most upgrades are bought using mana. Mana is collected by building a mana generator next to mana wells. When your temple is destroyed, you will get the chance to spend your mana and acquire new weapons and other bonuses such as the number of boons you get to select, how often you get boons, and the health of the temple. Collecting as much mana as possible is one of the core elements of the game.
How to play:
Protect the temple by building and upgrading turrets, unlocking new weapons, and acquiring new boon cards. Avoid corruption and destroy the monsters before they reach the temple.
Controls:
Mouse: Left click to interact with the UI. Ctrl-Left Click to upgrade turrets. Use the mouse wheel to select the upgrade amount.
Mobile: Tap and drag to interact with the UI. Scroll up and down to upgrade turrets and select the upgrade amount.
