In The Fancy Pants Adventure: World 3, or Fancy Pants 3, the Squiggleville Mayor begs Fancy Pants Man to fight pirates who have attacked the town and stolen the royal bathtub. After the initial conflict, the pirates kidnap FPM's little sister (Cutie Pants Girl). The player must help FPM save his sister across nine action-packed levels.
Fancy Pants 3 introduces a lot of new elements to the series, including more backstory and worldbuilding and additional physical maneuvers, side plots and twists. As with the previous games, the player needs to direct FPM to collect squiggles and deal with enemies. Beyond stomping spiders and mice, they must direct FPM to fight pirates, crabs and ninjas. They must also learn how use a pencil and other items as melee weapons. Expanded and new environments include Squiggleville, The Royal Tub, Outter Squiggleville, Canopy Forest, Bummin' It Beach, Pirate Cove, Piraty Princess Ship, Misplaced Cave and Island Express.
How to play:
Explore Squiggleville. Collect squiggles and bypass obstacles. Use ink slicks to slide further. Find the pirates. Defeat them in the bathtub without physically touching them. Leave Squiggleville to find Cutie Pants Girl. Collect additional squiggles. Defeat more enemies. Locate and use weapons.
Controls:
Keyboard: Fancy Pants 3 requires a keyboard. To go left or right, press the Left Arrow and Right Arrow keys. For super speed, hold down a directional key. To use a door, press Up Arrow. To jump, press S. To jump higher, hold down the S key. To flip backward from a wall, press S and Left Arrow. To duck down, press Down Arrow. To slide or kick, press Down Arrow while pressing a directional key. To roll, use the slide and kick directions on a slope. To attack, press A. Alter swings by pressing A and a directional key. To pause, press Spacebar. To toggle music, press M.
Mouse: Click available UI elements. Otherwise, FPA: World 3 doesn't offer a mouse play option.
Mobile: Tap available UI elements. Otherwise, the game doesn't offer this play option.
