The Fancy Pants Adventure: World 2, also known as Fancy Pants 2, continues the popular platformer series with a brand new adventure. Angry Rabbit has stolen the Fancy Pants Man's creamy ice cream cone, which he received as a prize for winning a Squiggleville golf tournament.
The player's main task is to help the FPM chase the thief and retrieve the tasty treat. They start in an underground environment filled with pipes. As with the previous game, they direct the FPM to collect wispy and circular squiggles and defeat spiders, pistol-shooting mice and other enemies. They can also bounce snail shells like golf and soccer balls.
The doors the player finds lead to amazing secret rooms and new lands, including a massive underground beehive where the FPM can ride bees and mountains slick with black ink that the FPM can use to slide down slopes and up walls. Other environments include a cityscape, a desert and a nighttime forest. The game continues the tradition of using stationary and moving platforms, curved ceilings and loop-de-loops.
As with the original, Fancy Pants 2 starts in a room with several doors. With this new game, Select Levels offers replay access to six standard levels and six special ones. Trophies + Colors features a trophy room and various colors of pants. The player can select four free colors (orange, green, red and blue) and unlock six more.
