Archery Master is a three-dimensional, first-person shooter that focuses on one of the oldest sports in the world. In a fenced-in zone at a school or urban park location, the player shoots arrows at various bullseye targets using a bow and arrows.
The player receives a task from the game with each new level, such as reaching a target score with a specific number of arrows or moving targets. The challenges include a bullseye tripod setup and targets that move up, down and side to side on horizontal board and wooden beam structures. As the game progresses, the player might receive fewer arrows, which reduces the number of chances they have to make mistakes.
Archery Master does supply a crosshairs-style sight mounted on the left side of the bow. To make a perfect shot, the player only needs to align the center of it with the center circle on a non-moving target. If the target moves, they need to anticipate the center circle's next location before they release an arrow. They also need to take the wind speed and direction, displayed to the left of the score bar, into account.
