The 2 Suits Spider Solitaire is an online version of the classic tabletop Solitaire card game developed by GameBoss.com. As with some other versions of Spider Solitaire, the player must arrange the mixed up cards scattered across 11 piles on the tabletop into suits without using any empty slots above the piles.
The primary difference with this game is that the player receives cards from only two of the four suits normally available in a standard 52-card deck (i.e. hearts and spades). To win the game, the player must successfully drag and drop the cards across the piles until they have arranged the suits by vertical, top-down, descending order (K, Q, J, 10... 5, 4, 3, 2, A) into two piles. These features make this version of Solitaire seem a lot easier than other forms available online. That said, tapping an overturned card to reveal additional cards to use in the stacks adds new cards across the table, which makes the game a lot more difficult at times because the player must then rearrange some stacks that they already re-ordered in part by a suit. Additionally, the player is only allowed to move one card at a time.
The game requires nothing more of the player. The simple display features a timer at the top right corner of the table that stops counting if the player must leave the game and browser tab briefly. The top left corner tracks the number of points the player wins for their moves. By tapping the "X" the player can also pause the game at any time and then restart it by tapping the "Return" button. If the player wants to undo a move at any point, they merely need to tap the button marked with a circular backwards arrow.
