Tile Match Puzzle is a tile-matching game with match-3 mechanics and a combination of home and outdoor themes. It randomly displays tiles in patterns across various locations, with 20 unique tiles per spot. These tiles display colorful icons that match the location's theme. For example, a location called In a Kitchen features tiles marked with green teapots, blue dish towels, wooden spoons and other related items. In a Forest features blue birds, flowers, leaves, mushrooms and tree stumps. Additional locations and tiles unlock over time.
All locations, which act as backdrops for the playfield, display multiple slightly round-cornered covered and uncovered tiles. A horizontal tray with seven empty spaces marked with dotted frames rests below the tiles. The player's goal is to remove all tiles from the field by matching three tiles at a time on the tray. When they select a white, uncovered tile, the game moves it automatically to the tray. When they select three matching tiles, the game automatically removes the pieces from the tray.
Tile Match Puzzle rewards the player with coins when they clear away all tiles. If they watch an advertisement, they can enjoy up to five times the number of coins via a rainbow multiplier bar. The player also wins coins when they complete tasks, such as logging in daily, completing a specific number of levels, collecting a certain number of tiles, and collecting specific types of tiles. After they complete enough levels, they also unlock a treasure chest.
The player can use their coins to purchase additional helpful boosters and tools, such as a shuffle button, a hint button and an undo button. The hint button, for example, prompts the game to find, select and remove three matching tiles.
