Piggy Dash is a pixelated, arcade-style maze game with dash play elements. The player directs a bright pink pig to move quickly across a black background through 45 levels of mazes that feature different shapes and sizes. The player collects yellow dots and earns up to three stars per level. If they do well, they receive coins.
The player can move the pig up, down, left and right within a maze. That said, the pig dashes in a straight line from one blue wall to the next. As a result, the player must consider the pig's anticipated end point for each dash when collecting dots and avoiding traps. For example, some walls feature vines of green briars that act like spikes that can kill the pig. Some flashing square and rectangle shapes with yellow stripes feature actual spikes that appear and disappear randomly.
Piggy Dash offers the player several methods for reviving the pig. The player can use saved coins. They can also watch an advertisement to earn coins or perform a revive. Lastly, they can reload the entire level and simply start over.
