Mini Sticky is an arcade, side-scrolling platformer that features a piece of pink slime that loves pink candy. A player helps the character find floating pieces of pink candy surrounded by pink bubbles in a variety of colorful terrains beneath blue, cloudy skies across 27 stages.
Each level is filled with dangers, including other fast- and slow-moving slime characters and obstacles. The player might need to direct the pink slime away from red spikes that bounce out of the ground or cannons that shoot fireballs. Different types of terrain also cause problems. The player might need to direct it to jump across gaps between moving platforms.
That said, Mini Sticky makes the terrain an advantage as well. Although the character moves effortlessly across green terrain, it becomes slightly stuck to pink terrain. Yet, the player merely needs to use the jump option to unstick the character. The pink terrain also helps the character climb walls and hide from other slime characters.
