Lucy's Ville is a merge game with business-simulation and renovation elements. Non-human expat Lucy has recently noticed an increase in residents from her dimension, Hellywood, visiting Earth. When she returns home, she finds Hellywood in a state of disrepair. Although she loves interior design, she needs the player's help to hire imp workers, perform magical restorations and complete other tasks. The player pays for each task with star-shaped rewards they earn by selling items created through merge play to Hellywood locals via an online store.�
The player uses a grid to merge pairs of matching items. If an item is covered in cobwebs, they must first generate a matching item from a magic book and then merge the cobwebbed item with it to make a new one. They merge as many times as necessary to fulfill orders from customers that appear on the left side of the screen.
After the player completes enough orders and collect revenues from sales, they use a task list icon to access the renovation screen. From there, they perform a wide range of repairs and other tasks with star rewards, such as installing and repairing outdoor lamps, restoring magical natural lighting to a beach, and even prompting Lucy to use convincing language when attempting to hire imps.
Lucy's Ville isn't a complicated game. Lucy provides step-by-step instructions that show the player how to complete tasks. She also rewards them with gift boxes that contain money, new items and more.
