Adam and Eve 3 is the third installment in the fun Adam and Eve logic-based, point-and-click, side-scroller series. Adam desperately wants to find true love, but he isn t yet satisfied with the results of his quest. Eve kept him hostage in a cage. He isn't happy with Cleopatra. The player must help Adam escape yet another bad romance and search for the one.
A bird drops a scroll love letter at Adam's feet in Cleopatra's boudoir. The player helps him leave the room, escape Egypt and find the person who sent the letter!
All games in the series feature obstacles that block Adam's path or threaten his life. The player removes whatever is in Adam's way by solving logic- and science-based problems. For example, the player might need to use a board and a fulcrum or pivot point to create a lever or seesaw and then move an object to one end of the board to create a balance beam bridge to help Adam escape a situation.
Many of the scene puzzles in Adam and Eve games feature simple machines and test the player's knowledge of engineering and other science disciplines. The player might need to know how a basic lever works one moment and how a bicycle and piping systems work the next.
That said, there are a wide variety of puzzles, including ones that merely challenge the player's common sense and reasoning skills. For example, the player might need to direct Adam to climb a cliff face or hold on to the bars of a hang glider.
