Sometimes I find myself with a few minutes of spare time and I want to play something quick and easy before I get back to work. Free to play games are a great way to kill a few minutes of time or more, but unfortunately a lot of these games are plagued with paywall mechanics that require you to spend unreasonable amounts of money to actually play the game. This is not the case with Candy Riddles, a game developed by Clever Apps.
Sweet fun
Candy Riddles is a match three puzzle game where the player has to match a certain amount of colorful candy shapes together to score points. Each stage gives a set amount of moves that can be made, and the goal is to get a certain amount of matching symbols. For example, on one stage I may need to match 14 stars and 14 doughnuts within 25 moves. The game itself is easy to pick up and play, but difficult to master as you get to the harder levels. During my time with the game, I found the difficulty to be just right in terms of challenging me without being frustrating. It is certainly one of the more addictive and fun games I've played in awhile.
Easy on the eyes and ears
I really liked the audio and visual design for this game. The music that plays during stages is very soothing, and the graphics are bright, colorful, and aesthetically pleasing. With the solid gameplay and colorful graphics, Candy Riddles is a great game to pick up and play when you need to take a quick break. Each stage only takes a few minutes to complete, which makes it the perfect game to just pick up and play when you have a moment of free time.
