The Gumball Games: Suburban Super Sports by Cartoon Network is a game based on The Amazing World of Gumball animated series. Gumball, Darwin and their friends decide to compete in five games called March, Jump, Joust, Rope and Launch in suburban backyards and on side streets near their home.
The player's goal is to help Gumball win a gold medal and ribbon in each event. They can also win silver and bronze medals. During the March game, the player helps Gumball march quickly away from a dinosaur. They must use two keyboard keys in sync with a nearby sign. If they fail, Gumball falls down or the dinosaur catches him by his bottoms.
With the Jump game, the player must see how far they can bounce Gumball off a trampoline and past a finish line. With Joust, Gumball must knock Darwin down while both ride bicycles and wield brooms like jousting lances. With Rope, Gumball's three-person team competes in a tug-of-war game in which they must attempt to pull a strip of colored cloth toward their side of the street. Lastly, with the Launch game, the player directs Gumball to throw a soda can like a discus as far as possible.
The Gumball Games: Suburban Super Sports provides the player with replay and start-over options so they can attempt to beat their last best distance or score and earn a higher-ranking medal.
