The Poppit! Stress Buster, also known simply as Poppit!, is a bubble-shooting game that features a unique twist. The player must pop bubbles instead of balloons. Additionally, they must perform the task using connect-style tile-matching play rather than a shooter and projectile.
On the screen, a happy cactus declares that Poppit! is designed for "instant stress relief." To the right of this message is a gauge filled with bubbling red liquid. It covers the distance between the words "Frazzled" at the top of the gauge and "Chillin'" at the bottom. The player's goal is to reduce the liquid by popping two or more connected balloons that have the same color.
The blue, green, red and yellow mixed balloons float in front of a curtain above a theater stage. The cactus, inside a terracotta pot, appears on the stage with one red eye spiraling around and steam coming out of the sides of its head.
Poppit! rewards the player with virtual prizes hidden inside the balloons. When the player pops balloons, the prizes fall to the stage floor. The balloons below the popped ones rise into the air or slide right or left to fill the gaps.
To win, the player doesn't need to pop every balloon. They merely need to release every prize onto the stage. If they perform this task well, the cactus allows them to destress by popping the remaining balloons. Eventually, the game displays a fun snapshot of the cactus. If the player fails to release all prizes, they must undo their moves or restart the round.
