Pogo Runner is a pixelated running platform that features adorable animals defeating enemies as they explore amazing landscapes on a pogo stick. With 60 levels of adventure available, the player can expect plenty of challenging tests of their ability to solve logic and physics puzzles.
The player starts as a white rabbit in a pastoral landscape filled with rolling hills, wooden fences, carrot tops and floating grassy land masses. Instead of collecting floating gold coins, they collect swirled giant lollipops that they can later exchange for access to one of four additional characters, including a frog and a cat.
The game challenges the player with plenty of enemies and obstacles. They might need to defeat turnips wearing white headbands by bouncing on their heads. They also face ground-level spikes, spinning wheels with jagged blades that move automatically around floating platforms, and triangular spikes that fall from above. The game even has a life-size horizontal slider and a block with pop-out blades that slides back and forth.
In Pogo Runner, the player must reach the dynamic black-and-white checkered finish zone on each level. A single impact from any direction by a deadly obstacle kills the bunny. If the player fails, they must start an entire level over unless it has a checkpoint flagpole marked by a yellow lowered flag that turns into a raised red one.
