Parkour: Climb and Jump is a three-dimensional, open-world parkour simulator that features adventure and skill mechanics more than racing elements. The player doesn't have to deal with other players and opponents, or difficult obstacles or traps. They're not required to force their onscreen avatar, a figure wearing a white mask, a red hoodie and sportswear, to race to beat a clock or always perform a specific number or type of stunts.
Instead, they explore an abandoned coastal town of old wooden structures and adobe-and-plaster walls decorated with flaking paint, and perform parkour moves to complete specific tasks. For example, they must collect floating semi-transparent cubes, known as crystals, in certain levels. The player uses a distance-tracking system to find the crystals.
Parkour: Climb and Jump allows the player to make their avatar to walk, run, climb, jump, slide and roll. The player can also direct the figure to use a rope to swing or zipline between areas. If they're feeling adventurous, they can also direct the figure out into the ocean to walk and move around on underwater sand.
