Help a mother and daughter overcome difficulties!
Dream Life is a home-makeover game with complex story elements and match-3 minigames. A woman, Anna, loses her husband at sea in a shipwreck. Anna's brother-in-law kicks her and her daughter, Annie, out of their house. With limited options, they settle into a rundown cabin in a small town. The player must play match-3 minigames to win gold stars that they can exchange to complete renovation tasks. Over time, they renovate additional areas beyond the cabin, including a dollhouse, a vegetable and fruit courtyard and a birthday party.
In each minigame, the player must collect a certain number of an item by matching three or more tiles that represent it in a connected line or shape on the board before they run out of moves. The game supplies boosters, such as rockets that remove rows, bombs that clear multiple tiles and rainbow balls that remove all similar tiles with lightning, to help them move quickly through each minigame. They can create some boosters by matching four or more of the same item. They also receive boosters as rewards and by buying them with gold coin earnings.
Dream Life asks the player to create a nickname before the first level. They can later track this name and stats against other players on a Ranking List leaderboard.
