Good Guys vs Bad Guys, sometimes known as Xtreme Good Guys Vs. Bad Guys, is a multiplayer first-person shooter. A player fights on a team or alone against others in a room. The game features at least four environments for use in a public or private room. It also offers a wide selection of various types of melee and other weapons.
The player starts by selecting a server (Europe, America or Asia). The game automatically generates a name for them. They can select a specific public room, use a locked room with a code, or create their own room. On the main screen, where the player makes this decision, the game displays the number and names of current rooms and number of active players. It also shows the number of completed levels, kills, deaths and games played over time.
If the player wants to create a room, the game auto-generates a room name. They must pick a game mode (TeamDeathMatch or DeathMatch), an environment, such as an area with ruins or an alley overgrown with vines, the maximum round time, and the highest number of players permitted in a room at one time.
The gameplay in Good Guys vs Bad Guys isn't complicated at all. The player must keep moving around the environment, strategize with other team members and complete tasks, if applicable, and kill their opponents with their many different weapons.
